Has Received WBE Certification
On 29 July 2009, Wenzler Architects received certification as a Woman-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE) through the Wisconsin Department of Commerce. It qualifies William Wenzler and Associates – Architects, Inc. to be considered for contracts with corporations and government entities that seek vendor relationships with businesses owned and operated by women.

Wenzler Architects Adds Two Additional
LEED Accredited Professionals to Staff
We currently have three LEED accredited Professionals on the staff of Wenzler Architects. Along with Christopher Wenzler, who received his certification in June of 2008, Kevin Brice and Scott Gerke received their LEED Certification on June 5, 2009.

On 10 May 2009, Architect William P. Wenzler, FAIA, Milwaukee, has been chosen to receive
the 2009 “Golden Award” from AIA Wisconsin, the state society of The American Institute of Architects
(AIA). The Golden Award is the highest honor the state architects’ society can bestow upon a member
architect.

On 11 February 2009, the firm was awarded the first ever Lifetime Service Award from Governor Jim Doyle and the Wisconsin State Building Commission, presented by Senator Fred Risser, President of the Wisconsin State Senate/Vice Chair of State Building Commission.
