The practice of architecture, as interpreted by our office, includes not only the design of buildings and spaces, but also pre-design studies such as feasibility and financing. The following services can be provided for new buildings, additions and renovations, alternate uses of existing buildings – or no buildings at all.

LEED Certified Building Design: Before LEED ratings existed, Wenzler Architects was on the cutting edge of energy efficiency, day lighting, sustainable building materials and systems. Today, we continue to focus our energy and efforts on achieving economically and environmentally sustainable buildings in collaboration with the LEED rating system.

Building Information Modeling: This has become a vital tool here at Wenzler Architects. Intelligent three-dimensional building models allow for better client interaction and communication, and provide a virtual model that incorporates the building mechanical systems to reduce conflicts and changes before the construction begins.

Architectural Programming: Functional, spatial and behavioral studies to determine facility requirements are provided as separate services or as a part of design services.

Site Selection and Feasibility Studies: Our pre-design services include environmental impact analysis, traffic studies, building type suitability and financial feasibility research. Many of our planning projects include such studies.

Site Planning and Landscape Architecture: Site planning, building compound master plans and landscape designs are part of our services. Examples include the award-winning Milwaukee North 3rd Street Improvement projects.

Building and Architectural Design: This is the principal service we offer. We have designed buildings of all types and all sizes. We emphasize creative ideas as well as thorough service and quality execution.

Interior Design: Human scale is the emphasis of our interior design services. Our work includes award-winning interiors.

Urban and Neighborhood Design: Many of the planning studies resulted in architectural design projects in an urban context. The award-winning Northridge Lakes Residential Structures and the North Division Neighborhood traffic plans are examples of our urban design work.

Post Construction Evaluation: This service includes the evaluation and recommendations for improvement of space utilization, energy performance, building maintenance and many other aspects in a building to help owners and occupants maximize the value of their buildings.
